Blog? What blog?

Woooooooooow... I can't believe this is still here... I thought for sure I deleted it, but apparently my brain is making things up again... It seems to have a habit of doing that...
Well, I guess I have a bit of catching up to do, huh?
I'm in college now. It's not anything your teachers say it is kiddies. They love to throw the ominous "C" word around like it's a weapon of mass destruction or some kind of horrible torture device. They use it as a threat. "You would never be able to write a paper like this in COLLEGE." But I'm here to say right now that it's not as impossibly difficult as they like to make it seem. They're just trying to make you do your homework.
However, it is most certainly a VERY different experience than I'm used to, and I love it! For once my intellect is actually being challenged and I learn new things every single day instead of just repeating the same concepts over and over and over again... My teachers find things wrong with my papers and I can no longer just breeze through on minimum effort, relying on natural talent for retaining information to get me by.

But I think the one thing that has been the hardest to get used to is the new way adults look at me. I'm not a kid anymore, and it's so strange to have them talk to me like an equal and want to hear my opinions. I don't FEEL any smarter, but apparently going to college and turning eighteen automatically makes your brain bigger. Weird...
Speaking of being eighteen...I still can't believe it. I still can't believe that I can go wherever I want, whenever I want, with whoever I want, however I want. And it's almost been half a year.
I think that's all the big things... I'll try and keep this current, but I know better than to make any promises. Besides, who even reads this anyway?
